Indian equities continued to gain for the third day on Friday. Both Sensex and Nifty were trading at a new life time high. At 9.39 a.m, the Sensex was trading up 48.16 points or 0.14% at 35,308.45 with 16 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 9.65 points or 0.09% at 10,826.65 with 27 components gaining.
Biggest gainers in the 30-share index were Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (2.72%), Kotak Mahindra Bank (1.10%), ITC (1.01%), Reliance Industries (0.95%), Tata Power Company (0.88%), and State Bank Of India (0.69%).
On the other hand, Infosys (1.15%), Wipro (1.04%), Asian Paints (0.78%), ICICI Bank (0.71%), Bharti Airtel (0.65%), and Power Grid Corporation Of India (0.61%) were the biggest losers in the Sensex.
Market breadth was negative with 985 advances against 762 declines.
