Indian equities continued to rally for the third day on Monday. At 9.49 a.m, the Sensex was trading up 230.39 points or 0.67% at 34,822.78. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 59.25 points or 0.55% at 10,740.50.
Biggest gainers in the 30-share index were ICICI Bank (3.73%), Tata Steel (1.94%), Housing Development Finance Corporation (1.42%), NTPC (1.22%), M&M (1.08%) and State Bank Of India (1.04%).
On the other hand, Indusind Bank (0.81%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (0.55%), Bharti Airtel (0.40%) and HUL (0.17%) were the major losers in the Sensex.
