Indian equities continued to gain for the fourth day on Tuesday. At 9.03 a.m, the Sensex was trading up 57.97 points or 0.17% at 34,410.76 with 18 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading lower by 0.55 points or 0.01% at 10,623.05 with 28 components falling.

Major gainers in the 30-share index were Coal India (5.83%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (3.65%), Infosys (2.76%), Larsen & Toubro (1.79%), Tata Power Company (1.41%), and ITC (0.99%).

On the other hand, Bharti Airtel (4.26%), Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (0.11%), and Bajaj Auto (0.05%) were the major losers in the Sensex.

Market breadth was positive with 408 advances against 91 declines.
