Transformers and Rectifiers (India) has been awarded order for 15 number of transformer amounting to Rs 1.27 billion from Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL). With this order, the company's order book as on date stands around Rs 9.37 billion.

The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till Dec. 01, 2017, rising 7.32% compared with the Sensex's 2.28% decline. It underperformed the market in past one quarter, gaining 1.16% as against 2.95% rise in the Sensex.
Shares of the company gained Rs 1.25, or 3.82%, to trade at Rs 34.00. The total volume of shares traded was 103,914 at the BSE (10.21 a.m., Monday).
