Elecon Engineering Company has bagged an order worth Rs 1.30 billion from Ramagundam Fertilizers and Chemicals for installing urea bagging and conveying systems at their complex at Ramagundam, Telangana.
The company also recently received orders worth Rs 450 million in cement, power, port and coal sectors.
Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was higher by 30.69% to 272,303 compared with 22-day average volume of 208,364.
Elecon Engineering Company is one of Asia's largest gear manufacturing company with vast experience of about five decades and significant business presence in India and abroad.
Shares of the company gained Rs 2.95, or 5.58%, to trade at Rs 55.80. The total volume of shares traded was 124,537 at the BSE (11.57 a.m., Monday).
