Dollar-rupee futures declined on Wednesday. USDINR March contract moved down 13 paise or 0.2 percent at 64.95 as against previous close of 65.08.
The most active March contract witnessed a high of 65.1125 and a low of 64.94 after opening at 65.09.
A total of 0.39 million contracts were traded till 09:45 pm. Turnover for March contract was at Rs25.18 billion. Meanwhile, open interest was at 0.94 million.
In spot market, rupee has rose 9 paise or 0.14 percent against dollar to trade at 64.95.
Local stock markets continued to rally for the second day on Wednesday. At 9.42 a.m, the Sensex was trading up 34.84 points or 0.12% at 29,444.36 with 17 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 11.65 points or 0.13% at 9,112.45 with 31 components gaining.
