Info Edge (India)  disclosed a sharp rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2016.  During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 56.70% to Rs 437.87 million from Rs 279.44 million  in the same quarter last year.

Revenues for the quarter  rose 13.09% to Rs 1,975.98 million, compared with Rs 1,747 million for the prior year period.

Operating margin for the quarter stood at 24.18 percent  as compared to 13.40 percent for the previous year period.  Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 477.76 million, compared with Rs 234.15 million in the previous year period.

Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 3.60, registering 56.52% growth over previous year period.
