Bajaj Auto, one of the leading 2 and 3 wheeler makers, announced a fall of 9% in sales to 3,52,822 units in October compared to 3,86,017 units sold in last year period.
Motorcycle sales decreased by 8% from a year ago to 3,08,733 units, while commercial vehicle sales down 10% over previous year to 44,089 units.
Out of the total sales, exports stood 1,27,645 units in October from 1,58,547 units in the same month last year.
Shares of the company declined Rs 63.3, or 2.48%, to trade at Rs 2,486.30. The total volume of shares traded was 5,915 at the BSE (9.36 a.m., Monday).
