Baroda Pioneer Asset Management Company (Baroda Pioneer AMC) today announced the appointment of Anthony Heredia as its chief executive officer effective Aug.03, 2015. The appointment of Anthony Heredia is a significant step towards strengthening the management team of Baroda Pioneer AMC.
Heredia was the managing director of Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) and was associated with the firm since 2007.

Heredia started his career in 1995 with Birla Sun Life Asset Management. He was the assistant vice president for Business Development and was associated with them till 2001. His next career move was to HSBC Asset Management India as Head of Sales and Distribution, where he served for 6 years. Anthony Heredia joined Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) in 2007 as Executive Director & Head of Sales and Marketing, and was soon promoted to the position of Chief Executive Officer in 2008.
Anthony Heredia is an All India rank holder Chartered Accountant and holds a graduate degree from the University of Mumbai. He has over 19 years of experience in investment management in the Indian asset management industry.
