Dollar-rupee futures weakened on Friday against US dollar. USDINR March contract moved down 13 paise or 0.21 percent at 62.60 as against previous close of 62.73. The most active March contract witnessed a high of 62.835 and a low of 62.6025 after opening at 62.78.
A total of 0.58 million contracts were traded till 12:46 pm. Turnover for March contract was at Rs 36.38 billion. Meanwhile, open interest was at 0.67 million.
Indian rupee has strengthened on Friday against US dollar. Indian currency rose 10 paise or 0.16 percent against dollar to trade at 62.57. Rupee has witnessed a high of 62.57 and a low of 62.79. Its 52-week range was 58.34-63.89.
