Tata MF has also bought shares of Petronet LNG and Swaraj Engines in February. On the other hand, the fund house exited completely from Jain Irrigation Systems, Escorts and Canara Bank in February. It has also made exit from Max India and Union Bank of India in February.
Out of the total 180 stocks, the fund has retained 75 stocks in February. It has hiked exposure in 44 stocks and reduced exposure in 61 stocks over the month.
Tata MF's top 5 additions were Power Grid, Coal India, M&M Financial Services, Alstom T&D and SBI during February. At the same time, PNB, ONGC, Bank of Baroda and Gujarat Pipavav witnessed a maximum reduction in the share holding.
Meanwhile, JSW Energy, Astra Microwave, Texmaco Rail and Engineering, Astral Poly Technik, Thomas Cook were top 5 stocks retained in the portfolio.
