Sensex ends 330 points higher; power, FMCG lead

The Power index was climbed by 1.48% followed by FMCG ( 1.47%). M&M, Coal India, HDFC and BHEL are major gainers in the Sensex pack. On the other hand, Hindalco, L&T, Tata Steel and Infosys are top losers in the benchmark index.
Shares of NTPC and BHEL were active in day's trade. Shares of NTPC registered a gain of 2.44% after it been awarded a contract from the Belgian offshore wind farm operator Northwind to provide operation and maintenance services for the 216 MW wind farm offshore substation on the Lodewijk bank, 40 km off the Belgian coast.
