India stock index futures signal positive open

Indian equities are likely to open on positive note tracking global markets on Friday, Nov. 28, 2014. SGX Nifty trading at 8,596 (08.25 am), 40.50 point higher than Thursday's close of 8,555.5.

Asian stocks are trading on mixed note in early trade on Friday. Japanese benchmark index Nikkei 225 up 0.53% to open at 17,340.16. China's Shanghai Composite down 0.03% to  open at 2,629.63.

European stock markets settled mixed on Thursday. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 gained 18.84 points or 0.58 percent to settle at 3,244.92. While UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 lost 5.75 points or 0.09 percent to close at 6,723.42. Germany's benchmark index DAX went up 59.31 points or 0.6 percent to end at 9,974.87. French benchmark index CAC 40 went up 8.92 points or 0.2 percent to end at 4,382.34.

Crude oil prices settled lower in futures market on Thursday. Light sweet crude oil (WTI) futures fell 0.40 dollar or 0.54 percent to close at USD 73.69 a barrel at the New York-based commodity exchange NYMEX. Brent crude oil futures fell 0.58 dollar or 0.74 percent to close at USD 77.75 a barrel at NYMEX. WTI-Brent spread was stable on Nov-2014. Natural gas futures remained flat at 4.355 a gallon at the NYMEX. RBOB gasoline futures remained flat at 2.035 a gallon at the NYMEX. In refined products, RBOB heating oil futures remained flat at 2.397 a gallon at the NYMEX.
