RBI sets rupee reference rate at 61.40 against dollar

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Friday fixed reference rate of rupee for US dollar at 61.40 compared with 61.46 on Thursday. The central bank has set reference rate of rupee for Euro at 77.18 as against 77.45 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the reference rate of rupee for Great Britain Pound has been fixed at 98.06 compared with 98.21 on October 30. For 100 Japanese Yen, reference rate of rupee was set at 55.28 as against 56.34 on Thursday.
