Dollar-rupee futures weakened on Friday against US dollar. USDINR November contract went down 9 paise or 0.15 percent at 61.67 as against previous close of 61.76.
The most active November contract recorded a high of 61.745 and a low of 61.605 after opening at 61.75.
A total of 0.29 million contracts were traded till 12:01 pm. Turnover for November contract was at Rs17.57 billion. Meanwhile, open interest was at 1.67 million.
Indian rupee has appreciated on Friday against US dollar. Indian currency gained 3 paise or 0.05 percent against dollar to trade at 61.42. Rupee has witnessed a high of 61.34 and a low of 61.43. Its 52-week range was 58.34-63.91.
