Bata, India's leading footwear retailer and manufacturer, continues to increase its retail presence with the opening of their largest store in Bandra at Hill Road, Mumbai. To mark the momentous occasion, acclaimed actress, Esha Gupta joined Kumar Nitesh, MD Retail of Bata Emerging Markets, to officially open the store with a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony.
 
Trading from 9,000 square feet area and spread across 3 floors, the new store offers customers an international shopping experience. The store showcases Bata's new-extensive product offering in the newly introduced city format. Customers can choose from an extensive range of the retailer's latest collection across footwear for women, men, children, as well as a special edit of exclusive accessories.

Shares of the company declined Rs 8.65, or 0.68%, to settle at Rs 1,255.05. The total volume of shares traded was 4,879 at the BSE (Thursday).
