Sesa Sterlite said a steep drop in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 31.72% to Rs 16,584.30 million from Rs 24,290.30 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the quarter declined 22.90% to Rs 195,493.80 million, compared with Rs 253,566.00 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 5.46, registering 33.33% decline over previous year period.
