Dollar-rupee futures depreciated on Wednesday against US dollar. USDINR October contract moved down 10 paise or 0.16 percent at 61.25 as against previous close of 61.35.

The most active October contract recorded a high of 61.26 and a low of 61.19 after opening at 61.23. A total of 0.34 million contracts were traded till 12:20 pm. Turnover for October contract was at Rs 21 billion. Meanwhile, open interest was at 0.91 million.

Indian rupee has appreciated on Wednesday against US dollar. Indian currency rose 9 paise or 0.15 percent against dollar to trade at 61.24. Rupee has witnessed a high of 61.16 and a low of 61.25. Its 52-week range was 58.34-63.91.
