Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have raised shareholding in Exide Industries, a storage battery producing company. FIIs' shareholding increased by 210 basis points to 17.03 percent at the end of September 2014 quarter from 14.93 percent as on Jun 30, 2014.
On the other hand, Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) shareholding decreased by 185 basis points to 17.76 percent at the end of September 2014 quarter from 19.61 percent as on Jun 30, 2014.
Non Institutions were holding 19.22 percent stake at the end of September 2014 quarter, down 25 basis points from 19.47 percent as on Jun 30, 2014.
Corporate bodies were holding 9.13 percent stake at the end of September 2014 quarter, up 18 basis points from 8.95 percent as on Jun 30, 2014.
Promoters' shareholding was unchanged at 45.99 percent at the end of September 2014.
Shares of the company declined Rs 7.25, or 4.57%, to settle at Rs 151.55. The total volume of shares traded was 456,856 at the BSE (Tuesday).
