Natco Pharma, one of the few Indian companies to venture into new drug discovery research witnessed a rise in share price on Tuesday after it announced that its marketing partner in the USA, Breckenridge Pharmaceutical has received a tentative approval from the United States Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) for Armodafinil 50mg, 150mg and 250mg tablets.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 1,321.10, up Rs 59.5, or 4.72% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday at 12:41 p.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 1,335 and low of Rs 1,276.55. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 8,302.
