S K S Microfinance said a sharp rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended September 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 3.47 times to Rs 567.51 million from Rs 163.41 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales for the quarter surged 46.29% to Rs 1,901.08 million, compared with Rs 1,300 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 4.48, registering 2.97 times growth over previous year period.

Shares of the company gained Rs 25.5, or 8.88%, to settle at Rs 312.80. The total volume of shares traded was 833,740 at the BSE (Monday).
