Hindustan Zinc announced a substantial rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended September 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 33.12% to Rs 21,835.20 million from Rs 16,402.50 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales for the quarter rose 6.83% to Rs 38,023.80 million, compared with Rs 35,591 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 5.17, registering 33.25% growth over previous year period.
