Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have reduced shareholding in GMR Infrastructure, the infrastructure holding company of GMR group. FIIs' shareholding decreased by 249 basis points to 16.20 percent at the end of September 2014 quarter from 18.69 percent as on Jun. 30, 2014.
Also, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) have decreased shareholding in the company. DIIs' shareholding reduced by 34 basis points to 8.14 percent at the end of September 2014 quarter from 8.48 percent as on Jun. 30, 2014.
Non Institutions were holding 11.55 percent stake at the end of September 2014 quarter, up 271 basis points from 8.84 percent as on Jun. 30, 2014.
Corporate bodies were holding 3.61 percent stake at the end of September 2014 quarter, up 173 basis points from 1.88 percent as on Jun 30, 2014.
On the other hand, promoters' shareholding increased by 12 basis points to 64.11 percent at the end of September 2014 quarter from 63.99 percent as on Jun. 30, 2014.
Shares of the company gained Rs 1, or 4.76%, to trade at Rs 22. The total volume of shares traded was 2,129,700 at the BSE (3.20 p.m., Monday).
