US stock markets are likely to open higher on Monday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average went up 0.27% to trade at 16,353. The S&P 500 futures gained 0.24% to trade at 1,885.6. The Nasdaq composite index futures increased 0.35% to trade at 3,817.25. (3.10 p.m., IST).

On Friday, US stock markets closed sharply higher. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 263.17 points or 1.63 percent to settle at 16,380.41. While NASDAQ 100 index went up 50.19 points or 1.33 percent to close at 3,815.47. The broader S&P 500 index rose 24.00 points or 1.29 percent to end at 1,886.76.
