UltraTech Cement announced a substantial rise in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 48.02% to Rs 4,142.40 million from Rs 2,798.60 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the quarter rose 18.49% to Rs 57,720.20 million, compared with Rs 48,712 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 15.09, registering 47.94% growth over previous year period.
