O C L India disclosed a sharp rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended September 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 3.02 times to Rs 127.40 million from Rs 42.20 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales for the quarter rose 10.91% to Rs 4,733.20 million, compared with Rs 4,268 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 2.24, registering 3.03 times growth over previous year period.

Shares of the company gained Rs 9.35, or 3.02%, to trade at Rs 318.65. The total volume of shares traded was 10,262 at the BSE (1.48 p.m., Monday).
