Delhi International Airport permits extension for current aeronautical tariff at IGIA

The determination of tariff for Delhi International Airport Private (DIAL) for the second 5 year control period effective Apr. 1, 2014 is currently pending before Airports Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA). Given the ongoing process of tariff determination, AERA had earlier permitted extension of charging of tariffs fixed for DIAL vide its order dated Apr. 20, 2012 till Oct. 31, 2014.

Subsequently vide its order dated Oct. 14, 2014, AERA has further extended charging of tariffs fixed for DIAL vide its order dated Apr. 20, 2012 till Jan. 31, 2015 or until final determination of tariffs for the second control period, whichever is earlier.

The revenue so collected by the airport operator (DIAL) during such period shall be adjusted from the aggregate revenue requirement for the second control period starting w.e.f Apr. 1, 2014.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.15, or 0.71%, to trade at Rs 21.15. The total volume of shares traded was 376,034 at the BSE (10.25 a.m., Monday).
