''Domestic markets closed positive on account of the RBI Governor's statement that India is seeing a pick-up in economic growth. However, he said more could be done to support that on a sustainable basis while noting inflation was also easing,'' it said.

''US markets closed positive reflecting speculation that the Fed may delay the end of its asset purchase following comments from the St Louis Fed President to halt a decline in inflation expectations,'' it added.
