Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have raised shareholding in Infosys, one of the India's leading software exporters. FIIs' shareholding increased by 109 basis points to 42.67 percent at the end of September 2014 quarter from 41.58 percent as on Jun. 30, 2014.
Also, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) have increased shareholding in the company. DIIs' shareholding increased by 40 basis points to 14.48 percent at the end of September 2014 quarter from 14.08 percent as on Jun. 30, 2014.
Non Institutions were holding 11.93 percent stake at the end of September 2014 quarter, down 30 basis points from 12.23 percent as on Jun. 30, 2014.
Corporate bodies were holding 0.56 percent stake at the end of September 2014 quarter, down 5 basis points from 0.61 percent as on Jun 30, 2014.
On the other hand, promoters' shareholding reduced by 2 basis points to 15.92 percent at the end of September 2014 quarter from 15.94 percent as on Jun. 30, 2014.
Shares of the company declined Rs 11.75, or 0.3%, to settle at Rs 3,853.85. The total volume of shares traded was 49,855 at the BSE (Friday).
