Solix Technologies, a leading provider of Enterprise Data Management (EDM) solutions, has announced that it has partnered with Hortonworks to deliver an integrated Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) solution for the Hortonworks Data Platform (HDP).
The Solix Big Data Suite provides an ILM policy framework for Hadoop to manage the data lifecycle including ingestion, retention, archiving and retirement, ensuring security, compliance and control for low cost, bulk data storage on a petabyte scale.
The integration with HDP enables Solix to accelerate enterprise data management modernization with a unified platform for Enterprise Archiving, Enterprise Data Lake and analytics. Solix Big Data Suite enables the adoption of a new enterprise blueprint to manage exploding data growth with low cost and bulk storage, and provides an ILM continuum for business intelligence and enterprise analytics.
''The Hortonworks Data Platform offers a unified repository to archive, retire and warehouse structured and unstructured data into Apache Hadoop,'' said Vikram Gaitonde, vice president of products, Solix Technologies. Shares of the company gained Rs 1.25, or 4.53%, to settle at Rs 28.85. The total volume of shares traded was 50 at the BSE (Thursday).
