Indian government bond yields fell on Wednesday. The 10-year 7.16% G-sec 2023 decreased 4 basis points to settle at 8.71% from 8.75% on last trading day. The 7.28% G-sec 2019 declined 2 basis points to settle at 8.53% from 8.55% on last trading day.

Indian rupee has appreciated on Wednesday against US dollar. Indian currency rose 15 paise or 0.24% against dollar to settle at 61.61. Rupee has witnessed a high of 61.58 and a low of 61.95. Its 52-week range was 58.34-63.91. The Dollar index, a measure of the value of the US dollar relative to a basket of foreign currencies, gained 0.22% to settle at 86.12.
