The reserve money with RBI rose 9.7% or Rs 1,504.9 billion on a Y-o-Y basis as on Sept. 26, 2014. The reserve money growth was at 6.2% in the same period last year. Total reserve money as on this date was Rs 17,036.1 billion. The currency in circulation went up 10.9% or Rs 1,311.2 billion on a Y-o-Y basis as on Sept. 26, 2014.

Bankers deposit with RBI increased by 3.9% or Rs 134.8 billion y-o-y basis. Total bankers deposit with RBI as on this date was Rs 3,593.5 billion. Meanwhile, other deposits with RBI increased by 128.1% or Rs 58.9 billion on a Y-o-Y basis as on Sept. 26, 2014. Total other deposits with RBI as on this date were Rs 104.9 billion.
