Steel Strips Wheels (SSWL), a producer of automobile wheel rims, recorded an increase of 12% in total wheel rim sales in numbers stood at 1.13 million vs 1 million in September 2013. This is second highest volume achieved by SSWL in a month. The festive cheer is strong is expected to continue on the back of wide spread sentiment and overall stable economic environment.
In terms of value, the company has achieved gross turnover of 1.16 billion in September 2014 vs 979.4 million in September 2013, there by recording a growth of 18.70% and achieved a net turnover of Rs 1.04 billion in September 2014 vs Rs 892 million in September 2013, recording a growth of 17.5%. There is a small clarification pertaining to turnover of last month which erroneously was indicated at 1.13 billion instead of 1.16 billion after correction.
