European stock markets are trading lower on Wednesday as investors awaited a report on U.S. jobs and Italy cut its economic-growth forecasts. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 declined 3.22 points or 0.1 percent to trade at 3,222.71.
While UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 fell 22.71 points or 0.34 percent to trade at 6,600.01. Germany's benchmark index DAX gained 9.11 points or 0.1 percent to trade at 9,483.41. Meanwhile, French benchmark index CAC 40 declined 7.84 points or 0.18 percent to trade at 4,408.40.
