Ashoka Buildcon, engaged in building and operating road and bridge projects in India, witnessed a rise in share price on Wednesday after one of its SPVs, Ashoka Sambalpur Baragarh Tollway, has received provisional completion certificate for its National Highway project. The project is for four laning of Sambalpur-Baragarh-Orissa/Chattisgarh border section of NH-6 KM to KM 88 (Length 88 KM) in the State of Orissa to be executed on BOT (Toll) project on DBFOT pattern under NHDP Phase III.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 135.75, up Rs 1.65, or 1.23% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday at 1:01 p.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 137 and low of Rs 133. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 2,985.
