Minda Industries witnessed a sharp rise in share prices on Wednesday after the company has signed a joint venture agreement with Panasonic Corporation, Japan to manufacture and supply of lead acid storage batteries for two wheelers, four wheelers and for other industrial batteries. The proposed plant of the joint venture company will be located at Pant Nagar, Uttrakhand.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 516.70, up Rs 31.9, or 6.58% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday at 12:35 p.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 529 and low of Rs 478.80. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 20,595.
