Indian equities are trading on a flat note in early trade on Wednesday tracking mixed global cues. At 10.15 a.m, the Sensex was trading down 2.85 points or 0.01% at 26,627.66 with 18 components falling. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading lower by 0.15 points at 7,964.65 with 29 components falling.
India VIX, a volatility index, gained on Wednesday. It is currently trading at 13.35, up 1.52% from 13.15. It witnessed a high of 13.48 and low of 12.89 after opening at 13.15 (at 10.13 am).
