ABB, a leading player in power and automation technologies, witnessed a rise in share price on Wednesday after the company has bagged an order worth Rs 550 million from Tamil Nadu Corporation to build a new substation in downtown Chennai. As a part of turnkey contract, ABB will design, supply, install and commission the substation.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 1,166, up Rs 18.7, or 1.63% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday at 9:42 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 1,169.80 and low of Rs 1,152. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 1,500.
