Khaleel Rahim, chairman & managing director of the State Trading Corporation of India (STC) said that the organization has achieved a turnover of Rs 153.74 billion during 2013-14. Addressing the shareholders at STC's 58th AGM which was held in its corporate office on Sep. 25, 2014, here, Rahim elaborated that STC achieved a trading profit of Rs 1.83 billion which was 54% higher than the trading profit earned during 2012-13.
The AGM was attended by Aditi Das Rout, director, department of commerce, ministry of commerce & industry, Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, director (Personnel), Rajiv Chopra, director (Marketing), Manoj Mishra, director (Finance), among others.
Shares of the company gained Rs 6.7, or 3.37%, to trade at Rs 205.30. The total volume of shares traded was 34,483 at the BSE (12.40 p.m., Monday).
