L&T Infotech, a global provider of information technology services and solutions, and a wholly-owned subsidiary of the USD 14.3 billion Larsen & Toubro (L&T), announced a partnership with Solix Technologies, to offer customers a comprehensive information lifecycle (ILM) solution to manage both structured and unstructured data.
By providing clients with a platform to deploy policy-based data governance strategies, the L&T Infotech-Solix partnership will help organizations not only manage on-premise data, but transition to cloud-based infrastructure as well.
L&T Infotech plans to expand its data and information management suite to manage both structured and unstructured data as part of its commitment in helping customers automate and simplify the management of complex IT environments, reduce risk and improve service delivery throughout the IT lifecycle. The partnership with Solix Technologies is an excellent complement to L&T Infotech for its backup and archiving solutions.
The partnership with Solix Technologies will strengthen the data management solutions of L&T Infotech by providing customers with database archiving, data masking, test data management, and application retirement solutions for packaged as well as custom database applications.
Shares of Solix Technologies declined Rs 1.2, or 4.56%, to trade at Rs 25.10. The total volume of shares traded was 4,000 at the BSE (2.48 p.m., Friday).
