Indian government bond yields rose on Tuesday. The 10-year 7.16% G-sec 2023 increased 2 basis points to settle at 8.71% as compared to 8.69% on last trading day. Also, the 7.28% G sec 2019 gained 1 basis point to settle at 8.5% as compared to 8.49% on last trading day.

Today, Indian rupee has weakened against US dollar. Indian currency declined 13 paise or 0.21% against dollar to settle at 60.95. Rupee has witnessed a high of 60.87 and a low of 61.01. Its 52-week range was 58.34-63.91.The Dollar index, a measure of the value of the US dollar relative to a basket of foreign currencies, declined 0.37% to settle at 84.44.
