Sharda Cropchem lists at 66% premium

Shares of Sharda Cropchem have listed on the bourses on Tuesday at huge premium after receiving overwhelming response to the initial public offering (IPO). It opened at Rs 260 a share i.e. 66.67% higher than issue price. Currently the shares are trading at Rs 231.80, up 48.59% from issue price of Rs 156. It recorded a high of 274 and a low of 240.55 at the NSE. The IPO of the company has been subscribed by 60 times. The QIB portion has been subscribed by 32.06 times and non-institutional by 251.35 times. The issue saw
retail participation at 5.74 times. Sharda Cropchem is a crop protection chemical company engaged in the marketing and distribution formulations and generic active ingredients globally.
