''Indian markets are expected to open negative on the back of negative global cues. On the global front, the weak US housing data raises fresh concern about growth in the US,'' said ICICIdirect.
''Domestic markets ended positive due to late hour buying after a volatile day of trade amid caution ahead of the September F&O expiry on Thursday,'' it said.
''US market closed negative partly due to profit booking while some negative sentiment was generated by comments from the Chinese Finance Minister indicating that China will not dramatically alter its economic policy despite signs of downward pressure on growth,'' it added.
