10-year G-sec yield falls marginally to 8.69%

Indian government bond yields fell on Monday. The 10-year 7.16% G-sec 2023 decreased marginally to settle at 8.69% as compared to 8.7% on last trading day. Also, the 7.28% G sec 2019 declined 2 basis points to settle at 8.48% as compared to 8.5% on last trading day.

Today Indian rupee has strengthened on Monday against US dollar. Indian currency moved up 1 paisa or 0.02% against dollar to settle at 60.82. Rupee has witnessed a high of 60.74 and a low of 60.86. Its 52-week range was 58.34-63.91. The Dollar index, a measure of the value of the US dollar relative to a basket of foreign currencies, declined 0.02% to settle at 84.72.
