European stock markets are trading lower on Monday as China's finance minister damped speculation his government will boost economic stimulus. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 declined 15.68 points or 0.48 percent to trade at 3,257.57.
While UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 lost 23.76 points or 0.35 percent to trade at 6,795.53. Germany's benchmark index DAX lost 46.93 points or 0.48 percent to trade at 9,752.33. Meanwhile, French benchmark index CAC 40 declined 21.93 points or 0.49 percent to trade at 4,439.29.
