Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net sellers in the equity segment worth Rs 65.30 million on both BSE, NSE and MCX-SX on September 19, 2014, as per provisional data available at BSE. They bought equities worth Rs 90.68 billion and sold equities worth Rs 90.75 billion.
While domestic institutional investors, which include banks, DFIs, insurance and MFs, were net buyers in the equity segment worth Rs 2.37 billion. They bought equities worth Rs 15.81 billion and sold equities worth Rs 13.44 billion.
As per final data, FIIs were net buyers in equity segment worth Rs 0.93 billion (USD 15.23 million) on September 19. They bought equities worth Rs 33.89 billion and sold equities worth Rs 32.96 billion.
