India's Forex reserves fell by $1.61 billion on week-on-week basis to stand at $315.69 billion as on Sept. 12, 2014. In the rupee terms, Forex reserves increased by Rs 6.9 billion over the week to stand at Rs 19,249.8 billion as on Sept. 12, 2014.
Foreign currency assets moved down $1.59 billion over the week to $288.76 billion. The value of country's gold reserve was unchanged over the week to $20.93 billion.
Meanwhile, amount under special drawing rights (SDRs) was $4.33 billion, down $11.4 million over the week. The reserve position in the IMF stood at $1.66 billion, down $4.4 million over the week.
On year-on-year basis, Forex reserves rose by $40.34 billion to $315.69 billion as on Sept. 12, 2014. While, in the rupee term, Forex reserves increased by Rs 1,624.9 billion over the year to Rs 19,249.8 billion as on Sept. 12, 2014.
