The international crude oil price of Indian Basket was down 1.28% to USD 95.50 a barrel (bbl) on Sept. 15, 2014. This was lower than the price of USD 96.74 a bbl on Sept. 12, 2014.

In rupee terms, the price of Indian Basket decreased to Rs 5,824.55 a bbl on Sept. 15, 2014 as compared to Rs 5,885.66 a bbl on Sept. 12, 2014.

Rupee closed weaker at Rs 60.66 a USD on Sept. 15, 2014 as against Rs  60.84 a USD on Sept. 12, 2014.

The diesel under recovery has been wiped out and there is over-recovery of Rs 0.35 a litre w.e.f Sept. 16, 2014.
