Bosch, German multinational engineering and electronics company, announced that the employee union of Bosch Bangalore plant has chosen to go on strike with effect from Sept. 16, 2014 in order to press for their unreasonable demands. Strike will be considered as illegal.

The management is in discussion with the union to restore normalcy at the earliest with the intervention of the additional labour commissioner, Karnataka.

Shares of the company gained Rs 240.5, or 1.62%, to trade at Rs 15,120. The total volume of shares traded was 3,207 at the BSE (10.35 a.m., Tuesday).
