India's largest automobile company, Tata Motors registered a fall of 9.74% in group global wholesales in August 2014, including Jaguar Land Rover. Slaes volume stood at 73,524 units in August as compared with 81,457 units for the same period in the previous year. Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal were 381,935 units.
Global wholesales of all Tata Motors' commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range - were 30,536 units. Cumulative commercial vehicles wholesales for the fiscal were 149,321 units.
Global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in August 2014 were 42,988 units. Cumulative passenger vehicles wholesales for the fiscal were 232,614 units.
Global wholesales of Tata Motors' passenger vehicles in August 2014 were 11,338 units. Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal were 46,341 units.
Global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover for the month were 31,650 vehicles. Jaguar wholesales for the month were 4,658 vehicles and cumulative wholesales were 31,650 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the month were 26,992 vehicles and cumulative wholesales were 154,623 vehicles. Cumulative wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover for the fiscal were 186,273 vehicles.
Shares of the company declined Rs 4.4, or 0.85%, to settle at Rs 512.10. The total volume of shares traded was 155,527 at the BSE (Monday).
